He was a heavyweight contender who fought from 1933 to 1938. Within only five years compiled a professional record of 51-3-1-44. According to the Ring's 1937 annual rankings, Adamick was listed as #6 at heavyweight that year, but might have been higher depending on the month within that time frame. His three defeats consist of two decisions to Maxie Rosenbloom and John Henry Lewis along with a stoppage loss to Roscoe Toles in the last fight of his career.
I just came across his record for the first time myself. In his match with Toles, he was knocked into a coma in lived to the age of 77 in 1992. I found this article that I found very interesting...it obviously never materialized into a comeback, however. http://anengineersaspect.blogspot.com/2011/07/nikola-tesla-dr-tesla-says-adamick.html
