Bivins had wins over great fighters that can be said to be the equals of Michael Spinks. Could Prime Bivins get a W over prime Michael Spinks?
Spinks is the favorite but Bivins IS no walkover. He's capable of pulling an upset,but would he? With good odds, it'd be worth a bet on Bivin's best night
I don't think this would be a barn burner.I pick Bivins as the more proven at heavy, but not with any conviction.
This is an unusual position for me, but I would be inclined to favor Spinks. They are both great of course, but Spinks' domination of a n era that deserves respect, should probably make him the favorite.
Both were better at LHVy, the question is which was better than the other? With Bivins we really have to go on his results,whereas we have plenty of Spinks to watch. I'm tentatively going for Spinks by dec in this intruiging matchup.
