Do you consider this fighter to be underrated? Was certainly inconsistent at times...(maybe Mob influence?...maybe not?) Anyway the guy looks like a real tough out on film... What is your opinion on Jimmy Carter? Also a question for the film buffs...Were the 2nd and 3rd Wallace Bud Smith fights with Carter filmed? Thanks...
Carter looks like a gifted operator but he was Carbonized and I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how good he actually was or which of his losses could have been wins or which of his wins could have been losses. He was also apparently box office poison. In one of his fights against Lauro Salas, Salas wore eye patches. Thought that was relevant.
The way he decimated Romanian contender Drac Unculiasis was really something. Nearly killed him completely, I hear. Before that, people really feared ole Drac but afterward it was like "Drac who?"
