I came across this website when I was trying to research more information on Jimmy De Forest. Someone had posted a series of articles that De Forest wrote, which provided some great insight into his career. The reason I'm writing is because I have a boxing scarpbook that belonged to De Forest. It contains hundreds of newspaper articles that he compiled and put in the skrapbook himself. The articles date from 1895 to the early 1920's. There's even advertisements and articles about his traveling circus acrobatic family. I have posted the book on ebay because I want to give someone the opportunity own the book who might truly appreciate the historic value and insight that the book offers. I didn't want this book to fade away in storage so I thought ebay was the best option for finding this book an appreciative home. -Ryan
