Ellis is a horrible style for Ruiz. He wouldn’t just decision Ruiz, but embarrass him. Guys that are fleet-footed are Ruiz’s kryptonite.

Ellis by easy UD Ruiz has quick hands but cement feet Ellis would box rings around him.

Ellis was good for his time but I think he's way too small to be competitive in today's heavyweight division. He might have some success early but eventually Ruiz catches him and knocks him out just too big and hits too hard and I don't think Ellis can fight the perfect fight for 12 rounds.

No he's not. Ruiz is short and never had notable power, he's been the distance with several sub 220 pounders, which goes against the idea of him being too big and powerful for cruiserweights. He couldn't even stop shot to pieces Liakhovich

Ellis schools him, Ruiz is literally an obese cruiserweight, no exaggeration.

Fleet footed? I always felt like Ellis had a bit too much dog in him for someone often the little guy, got trigger happy a bit too much for me to favour him against the 260lbs Ruiz who can move just fine with all that “useless” weight, it’s weight it’ll be behind his punches and it didn’t slow him down. My 0.2$ is behind Ruiz running him over.

Ellis doesn't have the best chin and Andy has more then enough power to knock him out

He outboxed Quarry primarily using movement the entire fight looking reminiscent of Ali.

He also schooled Bonavena winning nigh on near enough every round.

Ruiz has very slow feet Ellis would school him.

Ellis was too small. This isn’t fair. Ruiz could knock him out with a quick counter even if he never bothers moving his feet.

Dundee would have Ellis fighting the correct winning style for this. Hardly a difficult task asking Angie Dundee pick holes in that style and have his guy ready and willing to exploit those weaknesses. A massive advantage here in the corners.
