Walcott is much more experienced, beat more name fighters, is more durable, has more stamina and punches harder while also being the better boxer. Very hard to see an argument for Ellis here.
Extremely exciting fight. Ellis was swift, nimble, and crafty. He was a fast starter with a dynamite right hand, a versatile, lengthy jab, and a deceptively evasive angled stance. Walcott was better inside, likely hit harder, was better defensively (which says a lot in this match-up), and had the movement of a real mastermind. Ultimately his deceptive bulk, close range skills, and defensive wizardry at any range is what sways me towards him.
