He's part of Elite XC's contract with Showtime. But a ring announcer is in the business to get paid. They'll call a barmitzvah if the money is right (and I've heard that Michael Buffer has done more than a few of those).
Jimmy Lennon has a right to live and make his money. Who the hell really cares what he announces? You know? I don't watch fights to hear or watch the announcer. They are just there to be honest IMO.
I guess you don't like alot of boxers anymore either. They are starting to wear affliction T-shirts too. When I was a kid boxers came out in robes, now alot of them walk out with affliction shirts on instead. I know B-Hop has been wearing them for a few years now.
