He got a boost because his his father was a legendary announcer as well, I don't think he's as bad as you're making him up to be though....

 

That is all Mike Buffer has going for him A slick catchphrase , a fake suntan & personality.
On the other hand Jimmy is a perfectionist. He goes to every fighters dressing room top make sure he pronounces their names properly & has all the details correct. He is the Announcer's announcer.
I remember Mike Buffer welcoming everyone to night of World Class Professional WRESTLING!! on an old USA tues night card from Ft Worth Tx. He also introduced Paulie Ayala as the NABF HEAVYWEIGHT champ LOL. You never hear Jimmy make mistakes like that

Jimmy is a class act, far better announcer and human than either **** Buffer sister.

 

It's funny that certain (insecure?) guys can't admit that another guy is handsome. Like that automatically makes them gay. It just means you can objectively view features not that you want to blow that dude.

 

Jimmy's dad was a world famous announcer in LA back in the day. That got his foot in the door obviously

 

I'm guessing because he's about 1,000 times better at what he does than the OP is at posting, or anything else.

 

I actually prefer him to Buffer. Love the tone of his voice and the way he announces decisions.

 

Jimmy is the business, my favourite.
