Two light weights whom I consider a little underrated. Jimmy Paul became a world champion while Howard Davis I don’t believe did. Both had some good wins. What do you think would happen prime for prime ?

Paul had a lot of power in his right, but was too.........I don't know, Laporte-like in his output. I think a lot of that might have been weight struggles toward the end of his reign. He looked drawn and emaciated in his last couple defenses.

Davis, for all his chinniness, went 12 with no less a puncher than Rosario. That takes some doing.

If THAT Davis shows up, he easily decisions Paul.

Best for best a Davis decision. Paul was a nice fighter tho. Davis could be dropped on occasion but in his prime he always came back.

Davis UD. Davis lacked a great chin, and had below average power. But his speed
and boxing ability were 2nd to none. Paul was a good fighter, but he lacked that extra
gear, all ways seemed to do just enough to win.
Paul could drop Davis along the way, but Davis though chinny, was a warrior and
    would get up to win.

Howard could win, but then again, he lost to Watt. And I'm thinking that Jimmy finds some way to pull even around the final round. And drops Howard for a close UD win.
