Wilde would have knocked Benny Lynch out so hard, Lynch would have been out for a month.

The reason I directed that question to Josey Wales and not to you is because I was looking for an un-biased opinion! You needn't have bothered mate!

How do you think the boy from the Gorbals would have faired against the Valley Commando then DINAMITA, on the one hand you have somebody that never fought outside the UK in Lynch up against an International superstar in Wilde that had won his first 101 bouts and hit so hard it was like been hit by a hammer.

I take the boy from the Valleys to win by KO, but i will give Benny some respect and say he will last until the latter part of the fight.

Robinson's resume is far better than Wilde's (whose career is moire reknowned for his KO power, dominance and ability against larger fighters). The point of the thread is moot anyway.

I don't get this crap. Are you trying to imply that Joe Calzaghe/Floyd Mayweather > all because of a 100% record? :blood

there both the tip of the spear, the apex, the pinacle, he elite, the great's of boxing. do't see the point seperating either to say one is better than the other or one has a better record than another. Both of them were class.

lol please don't look at me for an unbiased opinion on Jimmy Wilde mate the man has been a hero of mine ever since the old boys sitting around waiting for my grandad to cut their hair told me stories about him some 40 years back . Now dont get me wrong here Lynch was a outstanding fighter before the **** got to him but bare i mind he lost about half a dozen fights within as many years so if pushed i would say Wilde could possibly Ko him but a wide decision in Wilde's favour would probably have been the outcome if they had fougt in a time machine .

Oh my days, well obviously the stats are likely to show in his favour if SRR fought 48 more fights than him.

....this thread is a touch mad!!!

Yes, I agree that the %'s are GREAT!

The competition isn't as good as Robinsons career

Wilde fought a good % of his career against people who had never fought PRO Or had guys with more Wins than Losses

How is this even a comparison to SRR!?

I am guessing the threadstarter is ANOTHER poorley educated Welsh Guy.
