    Something tells me you are not taking this matchup seriously. I mean, we're talking about Jimmy Young here, not just some second-rate heavyweight champion like Johansson.

    which young are we talking about? the one who roy tiger williams and randy nueman outpointed, drew with billy aird or shavers KO'd or ossie ocasio beat twice?

    do we count jimmy young who exhausted foreman outpointed ron lyle and made a fat ali look bad?

    what about cleveland williams? do we count the version who was pounded by ali, satterfeild and liston, drew with machen and was outpointed by chuvalo and ernie terrel? or do we count the guy who edged a young ernie terrel who had yet to find his feet in the division?

    hmmm. being kind, jimmy young ....on points.

    Williams was good,but he'd be very little problem for Jimmy. Would probably be as near as dammit to the Young-Lyle fights.

    I always liked Jimmy but it is interesting how over rated he is on this Board by many ... he excelled against a specific style and was just o.k. against others ...
