    Louis had already crushed many ranked men. He got better after this loss.

    It definitely ranks high considering it's one of the rare wins, where one of the best fighters of all time wasn't old or past his prime got beat very convincingly.

    I'm just wondering if Young's style is more effective against the bigger for modern Heavyweights ? as i said i know very little of Schmeling outside of his fights with Louis.

    could Max whip Ali?

    of course not, and Jimmy easily out foxed and out boxed the greatest

    Max too slow & methodical. doesnt think fast enough for Jimmy who comes from a vastly superior era of heavyweights

    by the time Max could even see an opening, Jimmy would beat him to it and be out of range

    30s heavyweights just dont cut it against 70s heavyweights
