Jimmy Young was fluked twice by a right hand puncher named Ernesto Shavers (Shavers was robbed in the rematch) .
Oliver McCall , being the proven serial right hand flukist that he was , would have fluked Young d 3rd time .

You know that Young was fed to Shavers in his 11th pro bout...and no friggin' way does McCall compare with Shavers in terms of power with his right (or left)..that scenario just don't hold up...Young would beat Ollie in a slow, dreamy cakewalk of a fight that would demand no rematch.

Young was by far the better technician and had more than ample durability to take whatever Oliver landed, which I suspect won't be much...

McCall really only beat two kinds of fighters..

    1. People who he was capable of knocking out, who's chins were questionable.

    2. People who gassed against him like Seldon.

Young does not fall into either of these categories.. He survived numerous rounds against many fighters who were head over heals better than McCall without gassing, and his chin withstood the artillary of Foreman, Shavers, Lyle and others.. He also trouble far better technicians and even beat a few of them....

This is a one sided affair in favor of Young..

It's Young's devastating power and aggression against McCall's superior boxing skill. Young has a chance because of McCall's suspect chin though.

I have a lot of respect for McCall, but his style is made for Young. Jimmy schools him by decision.

All of that goes out the window when you're up against a serial right hand flukist.

Young gets fluked d 3rd time.
