    Too bad Jimmy didn't close the show like that in all those screwings he went through..by all justice, he shouldn't have had to though. It was enough to fight and beat his opponents, but to fight the officials too, that was too much.

    No, he did it right, he beat them with his brains and technike. You know, I really appreciate seeing these vids, because, after reading the fight reports so many years ago, they made it sound like he was a fat slob embarrising himself in the ring, getting his ass kicked. Well, I saw the Occassio fights, he was right there, I would have given him the nod I think, Dokes, I know he beat, Baily, he got it done, etc. People knock him, but he was right there with the big boys of the 70s and 80s, not bad for an counterpuncher who didn't throw a lot of punches. You know and I know he was the champ!

    It's stupid, really... He may have been out of shape but he was still smart and skilled enough to outpoint certain men, like dokes and bailey, both very capable.
