Excellently stated. When you go back and really look at Young's body of work, it becomes all the more impressive, knowing that he's rarely in H2H discussions or gets the proper dues he deserves. I rate him fairly highly, myself.
Young was never dominated anywhere near his prime and he competed in, without doubt, the deepest and most fiercely competitive heavyweight era of all time, taking on literally all comers from multiple generations including multiple fighters in every fight fans top 10 heavyweights list and plenty more that end up in the top 25-50.
