Rewriting nothing, you are the one in the minority in this thread with your opinion of who won Young's "close" calls. Nothing you've said is anything more then typical McVey rhetoric, inflexible as ever. Also, all the worse that you're so wrong what with you *gasp* somehow seeing a the secret, special edition drastically different first showings of Young's fights. I think the real issue here is it being 30 years since you've seen these fights and clinging onto your first impression. Stop moving your mouth for once and pop in one of these fights. We'll be waiting, I'll have some eggs of my own for you to suck on when you get back. :yep
The Young fights Ive seen are readily available,if I had any that were NOT in the public domain ,I would readily share them with this forum, even with a callow little pip squeak like you. I think I proved that when I directed posters to the source of the Corbett Tunney footage. No secret pms from me. Watched the Young fight two weeks ago actually, what a stinker ,Ali's worst performance,at least he could argue he was out of shape and 35 ,what was Young's excuse? I made it a draw ,as if any one cared.First time I watched it ,as it happened, I gave Ali a narrow dec.Maybe in another 30 years Ill give it to Young. At the end of the day ,YOU MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK. Now dont get saucy with your elders and betters mirrorman ,or Ill have to smack our botty.:hi:
