I'm just lately learning about guys like him and others in the divisions around his, I've been watching more and reading more to get more knowledge of these lower weight greats, I see he was around when Galaxy was, why did they never fight, for that matter why did Galazy never really seem to fight anyone, maybe a couple guys and that's all I can find worth anything, and most seem to rank his brother much lower than him, again Why? I can't find a reason for it, Khaokor seemed to be just about as good, but many have him nowhere near the fighter his brother was.
In my opinion Khaokor was better than his brother, though he was inconsistent. Khaosai of course is very strong H2H. Watanabe didn't fight Galaxy because he instead decided to unify his titles with Poonterat (sp) who was higher regarded at that point than Galaxy. In my opinion, Watanabe would've beaten Galaxy. Would've been a great bout.
Watanabe killed his own mother when given the hit by the Yakuza higher ups. True story. She herself was yakusa competition and a torturer kidnapper and murderer. Nice family!
Pretty sure that's a fake ( but cool) Internet story. OfficeHancho made a video on it. I think he was a high profile debt man.
I spent a while looking for evidence of this, and couldn't find anything other than OfficeHancho's video which was seemingly based on an English language forum...so I'm going with this being fake
