Who wins this fight? I say Pacquiao finishes JLC inside 8 rounds. You don't pressure a puncher. And you don't pressure Pacquiao. Pretty easy KO for Manny. He finishes JLC easier than he destroyed MAB and Cotto.
I like the fight honestly but the way Pac fights I just think it would be hard for JLC to mount anything that would be effective....Pac would control this fight to me simply because JLC would be coming forward too much and that's just how Pac likes them.
Oops, I thought it was asking about JCC and I voted Pac by decision. Against JLC Pac would get the knockout.
Pac was a machine at 135. He obliterates JLC. Pac v Duran at 135? Now we`re talking. Duran by KO mid rounds.
I know the easy choice is Pacman but I wouldn't sleep on Castillo at 135 winning possibly by a stoppage to the body, José is underrated and was an absolute beast at LW wasn't he a 2x Lineal LW Champ as well Pacquiao is an top ATG fighter but Castillo is arguably an ATG LW in his prime he would be one of Manny's best opponents, considering when other fights occured this isn't a easy fight and would likely be a barnburner. Realistically 130-35 Manny lost to a faded Morales in the middle of a 1W-7L streak, and arguably and in most opinions lost to JMM, Prime Castillo would be a hard fight.
Not a real big fan of Castillo but he had problems with quick southpaw fighters like stevie Johnston. I think pac at 135 would be too quick with both hands and feet for JLC to handle.
This content is protected You don't really believe this. A 165 pound Margarito detonated not one, but TWO nuclear shots to Pacquiao's ribs in Round 6 (33:00). Pacquiao's left elbow got caught in the ropes. He was folded over and hurt badly. He ran around the ring to recuperate. Pacquiao ended up in a fetal position for 2 days from those shots.
Castillo was a really good fighter, a less skilled version of Chavez, and sometimes, underrated. But he is perfect for Manny, i can see a Barrera type performance but better.
