So we all know he's moving up to lightweight to hunt down Pacman. But will he get the third fight that he craves? Or will he be kept in the queue for the rest of his career.

    JMM fights Casa in Sep
    Pacman fights DLH in Dec.

JMM would probably want to fight again in Mar/Apr if he beats Casa, which I think he will.

Pacquaio wants to fight Hatton. Hatton fights in Nov, Pac in Dec. So a spring 09 fight for those two if they're successful, yes?

In between that JMM would probably want to fight Juan Diaz, Guzman - someone like that (rematch with Barrera anyone?)

So you'd be looking at autumn 09 if all goes to plan for Pacman. JMM ain't getting any younger or is that Arum and Pac's devious plan :fire

How did you score the fight, bro? I saw it as close but the KD tilted in favor of Pac.

Get over with it already. Pac won the 2nd fight by 2points the least. As for Marquez, I dont think they will meet again as Pac wants to end his career against Hoya and Hatton.

That's an interesting theory. JMM's what, 35 now, right? Yu might be on to somethin' there. Barrera stays retired I hope, dawg. I loved that guy and the last Pac fight tore me up a bit.

The nagging question is who has the weaker chin: Marquez or Casamayor

Marquez has been knocked down 5 times already. 4x by Pac and one by Barrera. Casamayor has never been down. He lost two SD and one UD.

IMO, Casa will KO/TKO Marquez who's fighting in 135 for the first time. :smoke

That guy's neck-strengthening regimen should've been showcased in one of the Rocky films.

if they both arent retired yet, then yeah its possible they'd meet again...but i doubt it.. he doesnt have to get queued, he has other lucrative fights to choose from and in this talented division, it'll still be a treat for us.

Even if Casa connects full length with that straight left, I still don't see that kid stayin' down. That lil' SOB is hard as nails.

You may have forgotten how he nailed down big man Katsidis who's a natural lightweight while this is Marquez's debut in 135. Going up in weight will slow him down. Come August, Marquez will be 35.
