Starts using the lead uppercut to get through Diaz peek-a-boo defense and the straight right because he is getting outjabbed by Diaz *Marquez mid way through the fight starts weaving under the right hand and blocking the left hook *Diaz gets cuts and starts to show some *****s in his armour but keeps pushing the volume punches * Fantastic finish by Marquez * If there was a clinch in this fight,it was less than 3 in total. * JMM was # 2 fighter pound-for-pound and the # 1 lightweight in the world by The Ring Magazine.
