After getting his ass handed to him in his UFC debut against Randy Couture in August, it now appears former boxing champion James Toney is trying to troll the sport of MMA again for a pay check.

Toney went on a verbal beatdown of Quinton Jackson while speaking with

this week in what is a likely attempt at setting up a bout between the two.

"The only thing that the Fake Mr. T has to do is sign the contract. Rampage is a decent club fighter and if he thinks his club fighting style can match my skills, then he is crazy as hell. What? Is he mad because I called him an Uncle Tom or because I said Detroit wouldn't accept him? (Laughing) My boy said Rampage stayed in his room and they were in Auburn Hills. They knew better than to go to the D where I'm from. Rampage is still an Uncle Tom and I will go on record and say he is not dumb enough to stand and trade with me. Machida almost knocked him out, so what do you think I would do to him. Rampage is a black redneck. He better stick to hanging with them white boys and keep my name out of his mouth. I ain't hard to find; sign the contract!"

Sounds like a fight that needs to be made!!!!!!!!!!!!but tomey isnt with the ufc anymore is he?

Sounds like the fight needs to be made? If I started talking (nonsensical) **** to Marcelo Garcia, does that mean he should accept a grappling match with me at Abu Dhabi?

No, he laughs his ass off, tells me that's cute and life goes on.

lol. If Toney somehow manages to trick the UFC into giving him another $800,000 payday, I'ma laugh my ass off.

Hell, Toney doesn't even train for his own sport, what made Dana and Company think that he'd take another, completely different, sport seriously.

Like Joe Rogan said, the best way to deal with James Toney saying he wants to fight Brock Lesnar, or Rampage, or whoever, is give them to him. Sure, most MMA fighters won't be dumb enough to stand with Toney, but Rampage gladly would, and I wouldn't put it past him to put Toney out like a light. All he needs is a clinch or kicks. Toney is not the boxer he is anymore, nevermind being a MMA fighter of any sort, his profession is near useless against proper near prime fighters who have stood up in MMA fights and took the biggest punches. Congratulations to Toney for being an elite boxer and having 'heavy' hands but let's see him knock out a fighter who took a lot of Wanderlei's knees before finally cashing out. Rampage is not to be tested with this bull****.

as for toney you cant blame him he wants another payday for doing nothing and the ufc were dumb enough to pay him once they could do it again

Rampage has amateur boxing skills. If Rampage stands and trades, it's game over.

He did take it seriously, and he did train hard for his fight with Couture. That's what makes it even more sad.

Are you serious, man? For starters, Toney is a counter puncher, he doesn't know the rhythm of an MMA fight, he can't even use his damn defense because it doesn't work with the gloves for a kick off. What is Toney meant to do when Rampage lights him up? Is he meant to throw a counter haymaker and put him out? He's got nothing. No speed, no timing, he's shot and he'll be ****ed. Stop playing like Rampage is some sort of china-chinned fool who can't handle his own against a 40-something who's in the wrong ring. Rampage would **** him up. Get him against a cage and just pound the **** out of him in a clinch. Toney would not stand and trade with Rampage neither, as soon as he gets hurt, which he will, he'll back the **** off. Everyone acts like he's supposed to be this magician. He's not, he's a 40 something tub of lard. Everyone reckons because he's got his gloves off he's going to knock the **** out of everyone with one punch, that's not how it works.

What made you come to this conclusion?

Was it the way Couture engaged Toney in stand up after talking all that bull**** about how Toney was no match for his "dirty boxing?"

    Oh wait...

Instead Couture was so scared to fight him, he went straight for the wrestle.

Couture sticking to a gameplan does not mean he's 'scared' to trade with Toney, he's just wise. He knows his clock has been cleaned by lesser stand-up fighters. Rampage won't play that crap.

I like to watch Rampage use his boxing. He's a ****ing madman, yet he looks so... composed. Like his movement is very entertaining, pity he gets leg kicked to **** and can't get near enough to his opponent anymore.

I agree with Toney's assessment that Rampage is a club fighter. He is very straight up and straight down, with nothing special aside from his power.

****, Rashaad fought him like a scared *****, and still managed to hang if not outbox Rampage.

What is Rampage gonna do when he runs into a guy with Toney's skillset?

    I'll tell you....

Try to wrestle him or get knocked out.
