JML gets killed by all of them, John's slickness wont work (his win over JMM was controversial and in Indonesia)...

Gamboa wouldnt beat them either but he has the best shot, if he improves on some things he has potential to be great though.

I don't think his win against marquez is that huge comsidering the fight was in indonesia and under controversial circumstances.

he actually made the fight close and hard for marquez irregardless if you think he won or not. being the fight was in indonesia doesn't matter. john performed magnificently and even if you think jmm won, that fight had made boxing fans respect chris john's boxing skill.

I have nothing against John for his fight against JMM. I thought he did really well. His range was all wrong for marquez in that fight. But i don;t think he would fare just like that on the other 3 mentioned. :good

I think Gamboa has the better chance, do to his quickness and athleticism.

marquez has problems with slick boxers. he is suited for froward fighters that are vulnerable to counters. that's what made john-JMM close

Yes. Except for Casamayor, IMO marquez have been fighting brawlers.

John had his best performance vs. JMM, but it was a fight John lost. I think of the 3 John is the most accomplished as of now, but that may soon change once Gamboa and Lopez face each other. I think John is the most reserved and least flashy of the 3, but I'd favor him to beat both Gamboa and Lopez by split decisions. Not the fastest or strongest, but has enough pop to get their attention and he knows how to put his punches together. He showed he had chin and heart when Juarez almost had him out in the first fight. He would get outgunned and ko'd by a prime Morales, outworked and beat to the punch by a prime Barrera, and even the version of JMM that John fought wasn't in his prime and JMM pretty much won that fight. Against a faster, younger JMM John would of lost even more clearly.

Juanma outworked and overpowered a smaller, past him prime Rafa Marquez, but almost got knocked out by Rafa had Juanma not been saved. Gamboa has gotten floored time and time again and struggled with a one dimensional brawler in Salido he would get schooled by a prime Barrera and stopped by both Morales and JMM. I have high hopes for Lopez and Gamboa, but they are not on that level at least not yet. Last great little fighter from the Caribean was Gomez and neither Lopez or Gamboa show the versatility, the dominance, and the power Gomez had. The closest they might come close to might be the power, but until they beat a John or each other can't really say how good they really are.

Gamboa didn't struggle with Salido, he won the fight going away and his stupidity stop him from koing Salido, if you didn't c that you were watching another fight in a bizarro world, and those times that Gamboa had been "floored" check again, only one of them was legit, and never hurt, please stop the glass jaw myth.

None of them would beat Pac, EM, or MAB not even close.
