Just reading this months Ring mag, the rundown on the JMM v Rafa Marquez has JML claiming he would like to fight JMM in the future. Now JMM probably only has a few years left so if they were to ever get in the ring together I could only see it happening in the next year or 2 (unless Lopez does a Pacesque blow through the higher divisions run) personally I think JMM would be too much for him, hed have the advantage of being naturally biggger and acclimatized to the weight division and think his power and counter punching would eventually lead to the Ko How would you see this going
JMM destroys him. JMM has taken punches from bigger guys and handled them just fine. JML is defined by his power and when he doesnt have that advantage he wont be able to adapt well. Also he is kind of chinny. A puncher like JMM would seriously hurt him. I like the sound of the fight though. It would be very explosive.
Call me crazy but I would love to see this fight. JuanMa IMO is a big featherweight, I could see him taking his power to 130 and being a champ there also. JMM is not even a natural lightweight, 126 or 130 is his best weight and IMO he could probably get down to 130. This fight will never happen but I say JuanMA has the power to make it interesting, and it would be a war until JMM TKO'S him in rounds 7 or 8
I think they are actually about the same size arent they? Man this fight would have FOTY written all over it though. JML KDs JMM early then it continues to be a war until the middle rounds where JMM TKOs him.
