Marquez throws way better counter-combos than Mayweather.

Definitely the best combination puncher today, very textbook fighter, makes opponents miss by inches, too bad he doesn't use much head movement to avoid jabs. *******s love to say he's on peds yet its ok for Pacquiao to tko Cotto. :patsch:lol:

You make a good point. When they went h2h Floyd put together some wicked 2 and 3 punch combinations, that Marquez had no answer for.

Pac is a better combination pucher but
JMM is more precise at throwing counters.
I believe JMM is even a tad better than Floyd on counter-punching skills.

JMM's combos are more aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but Pac has the edge in effectiveness. I know it's sacrilege, but I tend to think they're both better combo punchers than Floyd, at least at this stage in his career.

I'd have to agree that JMM's combinations are such a beauty to watch, and definitely the best among the three.

Floyd isn't really a combination puncher.
He throws one when his opponents shell up but not that often and not that impressive really. Usually they are arm punches too.

Pac is more of a volume puncher in that he puts up his combos by creating openings and then pummeling hard when those openings are created, even during mid-combo.

JMM would tag you hard with all 3 or 4 punches connecting because he is so precise and dynamic at placing and timing these shots, not to mention the mind games that he would play prior to delivering his bombs.

JMM and canelo are the two best combination punchers in boxing.
