Pac is the best combination puncher I've ever seen. JMM is a classic textbook combination puncher, that is he throws textbook punches. ie if you ever boxed, the first combination you will learn is the 1,2,3 which is jab, right, hook, because they fall into motion from your body positioning quite easily. JMM is obviously at a very advance level and can switch it up but his combinations are textbook, therefore for someone who has studied textbook boxing it can be easier to predict. That's why he couldn't hit Floyd with that, Floyds very own reflex training on the pads works on muscle memory against textbook punches.

Pac can literally throw any punch that is best suited for that moment, he creates new punches, half a hook, half uppercut, half jab, just to create the angle to pierce through the guard.

JMM throws excellent combinations. But I'm not sure anyone throws more amazing combos than Manny. Floyd throws, these days, less punches in his combos. Although he is very accurate. When in the lower weights, he threw more.

Double standard.. When Pacquiao does this like 3 or 4 times better is because he was fighting punching bags but when Marquez he suddenly is better? Where was those combinations before he fought Alvarado?

I respect JMM as well as I respected Barrera, Morales but not as much as Julio Cesar Chavez Sr from Sinaloa, Culiacan, this last probably the best combination body-head puncher of south of the border of the whole half century. Manny has put together 12 unanswered fluid punches on Tim Bradley's in his last fight with speed, accuracy and perfect timing and in his previous fight, he simply smashed a home-run in scoring punches in bunches and on the move against Rios in Macau. On the other hand, Floyd can put combinations in a square meter coming from down low, up , sides. on the fly and on the move and including repetion of techniques, power and defensive awareness.

I am sorry to say but JMM is nowhere a better combination puncher than Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather.
