    How do these fighters compare?

    The critieria:

Offense - attacking and counter punching
    Defense
    Footwork
    Skillset - range of skills
Adaptability - abiltity to make adjustments in the ring

    My take:

    Offense: Jmm
    Defense: Toney
    Footwork: Jmm
    Skillset: Toney
    Adaptability: Jmm

I think one problem here when threads like this are made, is that people will recall prime Toney from a few years back and current J M Marquez

Adaptability is the only one I don't know if I agree with it. Everything is spot on.

Toney is one badass mofo, but JMM is a few notches above Toney in every category except in the cajones department. For Toney to move up and fight way above his natural weight and take on heavyweights and more than hold his own.......he's a scary man.
