I cant get over how beautiful his left hook is... speed, power, seems to land it at will... amazing technical fighter

i dont think so, he loops it alot of the time, there are better ones out there imo.....but he do seem to land it whenever the throws it, i think he may have the highest overall accuracy out of any current fighter now that i think about it

Not even Marqeuz's best punch for me. I think his uppercut and his jab are better.

As for the best one since Sugar Ray Leonard? Are you kidding? Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson, Ricardo Lopez...

What are u even talking about? JMM is very accurate and has good speed and good power, but its his accuracy, timing and knowing when to throw the right punch that makes him so good.... and what do you mean since SRL? SRL of course threw a good left hook, but by no means is considered to have one of the greatest left hooks of recent memory..

Do you know much about boxing? Or did you just want to talk about JMM's punch and compare it to someone in the past that you have heard of and know is quite good.

Barrera's left hook was infinitely superior to JMM's, who has a better right hand though.

It's the punch before & after the left hook that make it a thing of beauty.
    (Great combo puncher)

A bit of both actually.. only been following boxing for 5 years so i am really limited in knowledge... but at the same time i have seen A LOT of fights in those 5 years and I personally think it is a thing of beauty. Really this was meant to be a comparison, as in putting it against some of the best left hooks out there...

The logical comparison would be with Barrera, seeing as they were both part of that recent fab four. Marco had one of the best left hands, overall, of the last 20 years quite easily. He did everything with it, whereas JMM Makes much better use of his right hand. Marco has the better left hand, whereas JMM has the better right hand.

imo JMM's hook is not a great one. He throws his uppercuts and right hands better.

    Barrera's left hook KO1 JMM's left hook

Tyson's was a level above JMM's. Lopez, Jones, Trinidad or Oscar are at least on the same level.
And Jeff 'Left Hook' Lacy..... oh well forget it.

Trinidad's left hook was better. Even Oscar had a better left hook than JMM....
