Discuss all you want, but in my eyes he's surpassed Barerra, Morales, Lopez, Sanchez, and yes Chavez :smoke
Chavez Sanchez Olivares - Saldivar In that order......IMO Olivares and Saldivar are close...I tend to rate Saldivar higher though....
Pretentious ****s Show me a resume like Marquez' And i mean a real resume where wins are actual wins not robberies
I'd have to marinate on JMM's achievements for a little while before I could properly rank him. I will remember him for going 2-1 (in my eyes) against the p4p superstar of this time...thats gunna count for something.
Ever heard about : -Sugar Ramos -Howard Winstone -Ismael Laguna -José Legra -Johnny Famechon ?? This is better than JMMs resume.....
woah. cool it kids. jcc is the most overated fighter of all time and in that is still a top 5 mexican fighter. remember jcc was considered 'boxing' in his prime. jmm is definitely among the best. if he gets some solid 3 wins then i can understand a good arguement. but now? no.
A Mexican fighter must be crude and take lots of punishment to be great. JMM skillwise pisses from a great height on JCC. Those combinations, the hook, uppercut, timing, a thing to behold. However, JCC's resume is arguably better. JMM's problem has been that noone wants to fight him. Where was the great warrior Morales? Comparing the boxers and fighters, I think JMM is greater in ability than JCC, but as I have said, JCC has probably achieved more.
