JMM ... better than Barrera or Morales?

He also lost to Chris John. Barkley beat Hearns and no one rates him over Tommy. I think somehow Marquez fighting everyone at he right time has overrated him. The fact that he couldn't do anything with Mayweather and Pacman is thriving shows something. Pacman is high level and Marquez is very good but not great.

 

I thought JMM won the first fight comfortably after that horrendous first round for him the 2nd fight was closer but i had JMM winning but i can see why some would score it for Pac

 

I think alot of people are generationally biased when ranking fighters.

 

Ironically the same thing has been said about Pac:deal

Barrera and Morales would. Being a great fighter and beating great fighters go hand in hand, it's the same thing. Past prime Barrera gave Marquez all he can handle, and no point people telling me who was older, Marquez was fighting B levels till 2003. Barrera and Morales were fighting elites in their division since 1997. Big difference.
