That plays right into Marquez hands, he will counter the **** out of Rios. We've seen Rios hurt badly by Acosta and he wasnt throwing when he was hurt. I could even see a TKO win for Marquez.

Rios's age also got something to do with it. when fighter(excl. mexicans) reach 30 or older, they seem to think more about their health. thats the reason i think Rios' wont respect marquez's power.

And no, Pac won last night!

Rios would give him alot of problems, true but Marquez' sharp accurate counter and combinations in the pocket to head and body would wear Rios down. JMM by close but clear UD.

Rios's defense is also being underrated. he comes to you in a turtle and unleash when he's in the right distance.

That's the thing that bothers and amuses me the most. When Rios' fighting style is called crude and that his defensive skills are overrated. He fights just the way he was trained to fight by his amateur trainers Manuel Rios and Robert Gonzalez taught him too. Brandon at the age of 8 was a straight on aggressive fighter. Seemingly impervious to pain with a chin of iron. His style made him an amateur standout and a great lightweight champion.
