Fellas, lets face it. Marquez is NEVER getting a decision over Pacquiao.

True, but a man can dream!

Marquez/Bradley is intriguing though. It'd be interesting to see how Bradley copes with Marquez's combinations, and whether or not Marquez will be able to wear him down over 12 rounds.

Pacquiao/Marquez still wouldn't be bad, lol. But a Bradley fight with either guy just seems more interesting at this juncture.

I don't think Bradley would be caught with many combinations. I think people maybe missing the style match-up here and holding on to something else. I really don't see how anyone can have this as a onesided fight, i really don't. Single punches would more of a problem for Bradley. Bradley is not the type to get caught with that sequence Marquez throws.

I don't know maybe i'm just waaay off base on this one (which wouldn't be the first time) And i'll happily eat humble pie. But i think this fight is super close. I don't see Marquez airing Timmy out like some people seem to. This is NOT Diaz or Katsidis we're talking about. I think the Pacquiao fight has masked a lot of things.

I would go on, but i've kind of shot my load in the first two posts...

I don't think it'll be a one-sided fight by any means. I'm actually surprised that so many people expect Marquez to just breeze past Bradley - I expected the reaction to this potential fight to be the opposite!

I think some folk are forgetting just how good Bradley is because of a) his 'layoff' and b) his perceived 'ducking' of Khan. He's still a great fighter with a tricky style that presents problems for Marquez.

It's funny how one fight changes so many things, isn't it..lol

What makes Marquez so effective is, he's so brillient at baiting counters. But to do this he needs to figure out your punching pattern, once he does that and especially with aggressive fighters, it's over for you. He's very clever in not just avoiding your misses, but in controlling HOW you miss. It becomes easier for him to set up and counter with combinations after he does that. This is why he starts so slow even against guys that are inferior to him. He was so effective against Pacquiao from the get-go because he'd had so many looks and chances to figure out his punching pattern. In general aggressive fighters tend to have the most predictable punching patterns.

Here's the thing. Bradley does not have a predictable punching pattern. Watch him close. He doesn't throw the same punches many times if those punches are not successful for him, AND he doesn't get hit with the same punches continuously. That's why i say Marquez combinations wouldn't catch him too often. Here and there yes but not constantly. Mainly because he doesn't have that predictable punching pattern and because he has good enough feet to change distance.

That's very true. Bradley gets a lot of flack for being boring, but he's a very smart fighter and knows how to make the adjustments neccesary during a fight to nullify his opponent's offense. Like I said, I'm surprised more people aren't of the opinion that Bradley would be the stylistic favourite.

Not that I'd count out Juan Manuel though. He's one of my favourite fighters, and I do think he can beat Bradley - I just think Bradley's more likely to beat him.

It would be a decent fight but I find it hard to get interested in Bradley.Marquez would beat him pretty easy and I think Bradley probably knows this which is why I dont see the fight happening.

We see eye to eye on this, mate. :good

I don't know if you agree, but i see a bit of Holyfield in Timmy "Wrinkly suits" Bradley (And i don't just mean his headwork, lol). I see a similar type of personality and will in the ring that Holyfield had. I think he might end up out willing a big name.

Btw, where have you come from? never seen you in this building before. Stick around because if this fight is made i'm ganna need your help like Paxton needed Hunts in fighting off that tornado...lol

Horrendous weather is looming...You're Helen Hunt and i'm Bill Paxton. We're ganna have to fight off this gathering funnel cloud, LOL!

Got damn things are heating up around here! Words are now being traded with intent.

Nacho Bernstein leads off with a savage right hand behind a feint to body.
"[Bradley] is a very dirty, slick fighter. He has injured several opponents with his head," Nacho said.

Bradley's countering with papoose style artillery.
"Excuses are like **sholes and you know that everyone of us has one so stop selling wolf tickets," Bradley said. "Nacho knows I would slap his best fighter around. At 140 pounds I'm the best fighter out there."

    :lol::good

    Reminds me of Fight Club.

“We have front row seats for this theater of Mass Destruction. The Demolitions Committee of Project Mayhem wrapped the foundation columns of a dozen buildings with blasting gelatin. In two minutes, primary charges will blow base charges, and a few square blocks will be reduced to smoldering rubble. I know this, because Timmy Bradley knows this.”

And so begins the Marquez/Bradley saga. A modern boxing tale of **** drinking, cheap suits, oxygen chambers, confusion, lead uppercuts, headbutts, mistrust, baits and snatches, pivots and turns, vegan diets, setting traps, schizophrenic behavior, and soap, LOL!

Good points Slip, exactly why I've always favoured Bradley to kick Berto's ass.

Marquez looked genuinely gutted when his S&C coach said drinking your own **** is bad for you . That coach done a brilliant job with Juan he looked really strong at weight.

"If it won't be Pacquiao, then I want it to be Bradley. Erik Morales is a good fighter [at 140] but we want the best possible options there are.Bradley is the better option. He holds the best ranking [at 140] and he has a style that is more difficult than Pacquiao," Marquez said.
