Let Packy duck JMM and fight this David Diaz guy...the real matchup is at 130 with JMM and Guzman.

They can increase their resumes with a win for the right to wait behind Juan Diaz.:rofl

Marquez-Guzman would be a helluva tactical fight. Would love to see it.

    I'd love to see a JMM-Guzman matchup......

.....however imo Guzman is the one fighter in or around 130 lbs that has the style that could not only trouble, but possibly beat JMM.

The one thing that fighters in their mid-thirties or later should stay away from are slicksters.
So although I'd enjoy the matchup, I'd prefer that matchup be put on hold till JMM fights Pac to settle the score of who is the best remaining of the mini-fab four.

If I'm GBP, I'd stick it to Arum, and embarrass both he and Pac by landing JMM a fight with Juan Diaz.

To be honest, I think Juan Diaz is an easier task for JMM at 135 lbs than Guzman would be at either 130 or 135 lbs.

Juan Diaz would be right there for JMM to counter all night long.
.....and the way that Juan Diaz leans foward and lets his hands loose to the body.....goodness, thats tailor made for JMM's masterful uppecuts.

I truly believe that JMM would outmanuever and just counter Juan silly.

Guzman style is a hard task for an aging JMM......like I said, he's the one fighter under 135 lbs who is slick and fast, and would probably have the best style to trouble and possibly beat Marquez.

JMM is going to have to go up and fight Pac at 135 lbs anyways.....what better than for JMM to one up him and fight the true lightweight champ of the world!:yep

Attention GBP, JMM vs Juan Diaz is the fight to make. Guzman is slick and too risky for JMM to go have to chase.
Embarass Bob and Pac and bring on Juan Diaz for JMM!!!!:deal :yep

Nope, if its made, I'll applaud JMM, root him on and win or lose, I'd enjoy it.
......but if I was in charge of GBP, I'd think there is more risk in a Guzman fight than there would be for a Diaz fight.
......and there is definitely more money to be made in a fight with Juan Diaz, than there would be for Guzman.

JMM would be jumping to 135 lbs for better money fight......what Pac is doing now is taking less money to jump to face David Diaz and leaving the fight that would make him the most money behind.

Marquez would have a reason to jump to 135 lbs......more money for Diaz, and after that guess who's in charge to demand parity or better for a fight with Pac???????:deal :deal :deal :rofl :rofl :rofl    :happy :bbb

I tell you Arum and Pac would look like a pair of tomatoes standing next to eachother if it were announced that JMM's next fight was with the true lightweight champ of the world Juan Diaz!

If JMM fights Guzman, I will voluntarily leave ESB for a whole month. And not only that, I will apologize to all JMM fans in here for criticising JMM for not fighting top contenders in the division.

That is how confident I am that JMM will NOT fight Guzman, at least for a workable purse split. If he has problems taking 40% purse against Pac (and at some point he even wants more share than Pac), I reckon he will probably ask 70-30 lion share against GUzman.

Exactly Black. Guzman is the riskier opponent without enough payout for the risk.
.....and legacy wise, the Pac fight is the fight that makes JMM complete.
If Pac is too afraid to settle the score of who is the best featherweight of the era......then JMM going up to face Juan Diaz is the next best thing in that he'd be fighting the legit lightweight champ against an opponent more suited to JMM's style.

This is all hypothetical of course, but I hope that GBP's is at least considering this move......I'd buy a ticket just to be able to see Arum's and the whole Pac teams faces if it were to be announced that JMM would take on Juan Diaz!

Its a pity that JMM and Pac dont fight eachother with the winner to move on to bigger and better things!
They're putting in Jeopardy that a true little man superfight will go down the toilet if one were to lose.
