Thats bollocks. The man was chubby at 142 lbs in his last fight.

JMM could make 130 if he wanted to.

This is also coming from Frank Warren people. :-(

damn i dont think anything over 135 suits JMM, his style and power will be rendered ineffective against the big dogs up north.

He should have never got mixed up in the Mayweather fiasco. He's screwed now! but there are still some good fights for him Malignaggi, Diaz 2, Khan, fatboy hatton, Judah just to name a few,

Hatton, then retire....He ain't built for 140. No point in diminishing a great career.

I just hope they sort out who is the champ so Mitchell can fight for a world title. I understand his next fight is against Katsidis, i think that fight has the quality to be a title fight imo

marquez seriously needs a good conditioning coach/nutritionist...

the weight gaining plan for mayweather was one of the poorest I've seen, plus his diet is very poor, i mean raw quail eggs for breakfast?

i guess he's just stuck in the past.

lol five freaking pounds please, i hate it whe boxers say they cant make a certain weight.. all it takes is a little dieting and hard work.. i remember when miguel cotto went from 135 to 147.. at the time i knew he wasnt going to be as good as everyone thought.. cotto at 140 couldve dominated for a long time but he's always been lazy and not dedicated..

    :hat

    you really dont know ****.

cotto was severely dehydrating himself at 140, he could have gotten killed in the ring.

You're insane. Cotto looked like a walking skeleton at the weigh ins for his last few fights at 140. He grew out of the weight. It nothing to do with laziness.
