I reckon Frank is talking through his arse once again. JMM was way to big for his comfort fighting Mayweather. I reckon he easily makes 135. Whether he does go down remains to be seen. A fight against Hatton is a great option for him right now. A big name, a big payday and one he ought to win. He will probably down to LWW.

I think JMM can make 135 or even fight comfortably @ 140. I wonder who or what source is Warren basing this on.

Once a fighter acclimated to a higher division muscle-wise, it is hard for the body to go down.

JMM gained muscles during the Mayweather fight (by lifting boulders-WTF?) and it is hard to lose those unless he stops work-out and allow the muscles to atrophy, which you can not do if you are a boxer).

Is is different from gaining fats because you can diet it down. Muscles however is different because you really have to starve as well as avoid exercises that would maintain it.

It is also the reason why Pac can not fight at 140 anymore without compromising something, or Mayweather can not fight really at 140 (with apologies to EZE for contradicting).

Which I would suspect means getting a conditioning coach thats going to get him on something thats illegal and may harm him in the future.....

......let the Pacroids and Hopkin's go that route.......this man has done a wonderful job doing it old school!:deal

We dont need more fighters saying no to drug testing!:yep

    Yeah.

If not, at the very least, he can make 135, no problem.

I heard a recent sports news report on AM radio, and it was about this fight.

Nacho Berinstain is apparently not happy with the people in charge of them (GBP) because he feels like they are trying to turn JMM into somewhat of a gatekeeper and/or a stepping stone for other boxers.

He said he didnt like what the group did to them in the Mayweather fight, and they also dont like the way they are being set up for a Khan fight.

Maybe they just dont want this fight.

Oh well... move to 140 then. It suits him betteerr to linger around there just in case Manny decides to fight him again in the near future.

Why do you always put a Pac spin on a thread with no Pac whatsoever?

If you don't agree, then just state so.

Honestly, the weight gain during the Mayweather fight was done poorly. He was doing it like body-builders do it. There was a video of him actually lifting and throwing big boulders at otami mountain. WTF was that for. It is not going to be a strongest man contest?

Modern sport science could actually offer a lot. Infact it is a degree in some universities. They can maximize explosiveness, endurance, and strength using exercises and some gadgets even as simple as rubber ropes.
