It leaves Manny Pacquiao with few options >>> 1/ Retire 2/ Fight JMM for a 5th time. 3/ Seek a rematch with Bradley. Mayweather not an option at present IMO.
Yeah he needs to regroup beat Bradley next fight and then fight JMM 5 Manny looked good last night so i don't think his speed has gone.
I agree. Abosolutely ridiculous. Pac plants his foot about 0.02 seconds before the punch lands. No way Marquez has time to deliberty step on his foot. What was Pac doing coming in with his elbow like that anyway?
As Freddie Roach said, Manny probably just got overconfident and left himself open. Roach described the punch that floored Pac as a "2 inch punch". Roach has also subtly alluded to JMM having being drug assisted, and there's bound to be a **** fight to follow in the media.
its a classic tactic by both stances to deliver their respective payloads. just this time pac was on the recieving end of one. pure clasic boxing tactics. be it deliberate or accident, a classic!
can anyone upload the toe stepping shot? wont let me it says the file is too big. i couldnt be ****ed shrinking it... here http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=448223
Go for the Bradley rematch imo, then think about JMM V after that. Bradley wont have the power to trouble him but would be a good fight none the less.
Yeah he should rematch Bradley and have a 5th fight with JMM. Though JMM is 39,he may have a farewell fight in Mexico and retire after that huge win.
Just what boxing is all about , great card , great atmosphere , action a plenty fight followed by a sweet timed sensational ko ......
My favourite moment has always been Tszyu getting Judah, but I think it may now have been beaten. I don't dislike Pac the way I dislike Judah but I really like Marquez and feel this victory was well deserved after some controversial results in the past. Very profitable for me too, although a round later and I'd have been very rich indeed.
theres a bit of the fight on fox sports news. looked like a good stoush. manny just wasnt being careful. he should have been moving right, not left.
pac was fighting really well till he got dropped in the 3rd, it seemed the gamplan went out the window, it was a great figth to watch!!
I felt really bad watching Jinkie crying and trying to get into the ring to be with Manny after the KO. But then again I thought about the David Diaz KO and how beat up he was after Pac mauled him. Thats boxing. You win some, you lose some.
