they r just trying to milk tha **** out of DIAZ before they give him the boot to his law school **** cuz he gota go back to class.... it will be an earlyer knockout, and this is just to JUICE up JMM name again....imagine another war, spectacular k.o on a ppv??? people will know they got their moneys worth and not with crap like the one sided jab battering on web ppv (klit vs. cham) or even the pac vs clott one sided shoe shining ... $50.00 ppv that wasnt even worth it...thanks even more to the undercard...but a jmm vs diaz fight? to the student fan, its like a waste of time, but think of the average joe...or should i say AVERAGE JOSE... "oh my gudnis!! Juan Manuel is fighting again?? imma get one dollar and have all my cousins pitch in one dollar each until we reach the ppv amount...cuz we got enough cousins...!! " lol...jk...but thats how it is in the mexican community...they love rematches reguardless of politics...they just know that JUAN is great and DIAZ is tough and that TO THEM is good enough...me personally wouldnt mind a hatton / marquez?? this is one of those "drink with tha homies " fight...were every one will be loud... everyone is over, and everyone will be excited before, during and after the fight, because these two's formula only guarantee fireworks...I think we will get a little of what we got in the first fight for the first 4-5 rounds, then DIAZ will get wobbled, clobberd and TKO'D n round 6.... DIAZ is still a kid, so NO excuses there... and as for MANUEL??? a keep em busy fight... why NOT diaz...**** the first one was FIGHT OF THE YEAR and that was LAST year, not 5 years ago....so these two have enough left to make it rattle the rankings a bit.. why complain??? it's like your saying, NO I DONT WANT A 4th VAZQUEZ VS. MARQUEZ... its Mexican boxing...ITS ABOUT PRIDE

    Good stuff, Jermz.

If GB stacks the under-card and showcases one of their top 140lbs fighters in the co-feature to possibly set up a showdown scenario against the main event winner, then I'm all in for this fight.

Probably the worst choice JMM could have made, but nothing seems official yet. Hatton would be PERFECT, I'm getting tired of hearing different things about him retiring, what's the latest and most reliable news on that?

I love the rematch. That you can't hate really, because the first fight was damn good, but PPV? Come on man. Like a poster has already said there was only 3 PPV's last year. This year that has already been 1 and 2 is coming up. The less PPV's the better.

Am I the only one that thought the first one was an awesome fight?

As classic as I thought the first fight was, I think this is a terrible rematch. Revisiting this does nothing for me. Waste of time, imo.

You shouldn't be. This was pretty much the 2009 FOTY. I'm sure the rematch won't live up to the the first fight, but still it should be a hell of a fight. I really don't know why people in this thread are whining. I guess I can see why people are laughing at how the General Forum is becoming a joke.

all ppv means these days is that the fighters command too much moeny and that the networks wont pay it....doesnt mean anything other than that...back in the day it was a superfight on ppv, now its just an alternative

How can Diaz still get on mainstream TV?? :patsch He's garbage. He has a dreadful Glass Jaw and was stiffened by a punch from Paulie Malignaggi. :rofl:rofl:lol::lol:

    Marquez KO 6.

I can see the logic of JMM choosing an easy opponent (as he's looking to bounce back from a 12 round pummeling from Floyd), but against a guy he's already knocked out?

I'd prefer it if he'd fight someone else (to get the rust off), before being matched Valero with. Now that is PPV material right there

The first fight was a good fight but I'm not too excited about a rematch. It feels unecessary and, like the first time, JMM seems like a comfortable favorite. Maybe as an HBO card it would have been fine but it doesn't belong as a ppv main event. And that Winky-Mora undercard seems to scream boring. That looks like some sort of fight off to get the winner a shot at Pavlik.
