Not sure if this has been posted before, but if it has, its worth watching again. Props to GORILLAproductions on YT for making this awesome highlight video (same guy who made Boxing - The Greatest Sport in the World, the video Mcgrain posted).

    FOTY.

It has been posted before, and i've seen it about 8 times myself - but anyone who doesn't want to watch this again needs to log onto a tennis forum.

As for any of you dummies that manage to miss it, enjoy it. I'm gonna watch it one more time!

    Some observations -

1 - Marquez is a lethal body puncher. He's putting gas in the bank even whilst being seperated from rounds 1 and 2.

2 - Will. I don't think anybody campaigning currently would beat Marquez in a battle of wills. He would be an absolutley exceptional 15 round fighter.

3 - Marquez's head moevement isn't great, but it's better than he gets credit for. Diaz doesn't score flush during a lot of these flourishes, Marquez uses the distance between them very affectively against wider punches by coming in - many of these are detonating behind the target rather than flush.

    How does Floyd like it to the body? (-;

Meh, Marquez has never faced anybody with the sort of defence that joy boy will bring, if he lands he wont be landing that clean.

And Mayweather will be picking him off, the difference in how easy it is to hit Diaz compared to Mayweather and how easy Maywethaer will find to hit Juan compared to Diaz is vast.

The only way he is going to lose a fight to Juan is on inactivity, hell I gave Oscar 3 more rounds than he should have won vs Floyd just because Mayweather seemed to do **** all.

  7. Marquez has impressed me immensely in his last 3 fights: pushed Pacquiao to the very limit in a war: stopped the never-before-stopped and still classy Casamayor: and of course the incredible demolition of Diaz.

Great fighter Marquez and I hope he beats Mayweather I really do, as much as I want to see Mayweather/Pacquiao.

Marquez-Pacquiao III is a much better fight than Mayweather-Pacquiao I think. And if Marquez beats Mayweather before they meet it becomes even bigger in a historical sense...not sure about a financially though...

  9. I would love to see Marquez/Pacman III too, it's a must, but Mayweather/Pacquiao is just on a slightly different level I think.

I'm getting excited about Marquez/Mayweather already and I disagree with Freddy Roach, I think it will be a great fight.

Visually though, Pac - Marquez could be a much more enjoyable fight to see. Though i think Pac - Mayweather would be on a different level as an event.

I agree, it seems that at higher weights (140, 147), Floyd's workrate is quite a bit lower. At 130/135 he was a beast who often averaged over 60 punches a round. He uses a lot of body movement and that costs a lot of energy.

If JMM is'nt physically manhandled, meaning Mayweather would be able to push him around with pure strenghth, I can very well see a scenario where Marquez wins with workrate.

......not to mention that Marquez is a fighter that has that canny ability to get his shots through even when the creece is small.....that ability has alot to do with firing shots in different types of angle degrees......
.....not to many fighters in history have that ability, and I'm wondering how Mayeather's defense will cope with that kind of shot making ability.
