Sorry guys, I should have clarified. I think Pac's position as P4P star is massively inflated as well. JMM is old and hasn't done **** for 3 years at 140 (relatively speaking) when I'm sure there were 6-8 BIG NAMES itching to fight him. The fights were there, he didn't seek them. He sought Pac. JMM getting robbed in what was a close fight however, doesn't show him as P4P superstar material. It only shows that Pacquiao is indeed as limited as many of us knew he STILL was. Marquez' P4P status is essentially piggy backing off of Pacquiao's inflated P4P status (inflated due to an exciting, but ultimately beatable style). P4P is about guys who transcend weight classes to show that they are not only the baddest men in their division (or very close to it), but are taking on all the big challenges. Making big moves. Dominating good competition. JMM is special, but that's not what he's done recently. Be honest and ask yourself, how do you see the following fights vs. a shopworn 38 year old JMM going? JMM vs... Khan (before peterson) Peterson BRADLEY Alexander Maidana (a year or two ago) Even Judah...could give him an interesting fight I think Truth is JMM would have trouble if not get beat by most of those fighters. They are big risk. That's why he's either fighting a bum or wearing a shirt about how he beat Pac and wants Marquez-Pacquiao IIII.
The original post is just terrible. And then so are most of the responses. This entire thread is worthless.
Yeah.OP's right because he deserves to be in a list of his own for showing the world just how horribly overrated Pacquaio is. With comforting regularity.
