There's a difference between accidental foot stepping and doing it on purpose.

The rule I quoted specifically mentions accidental fouls.

Damn, I am just happy Pacquaio was brought back to life. Marquez suddenly had the power to put manny on his ass. His "trainer" must have good training.

I dunno, I detected that Manny lunged face first into the prettiest right hand counter I've ever seen and dropped like a sack of potatoes.

why does it always have to be MARQUEZ stepping on PAC's foot? On the 3rd fight, it was 17 times. What an accidental foot stepping! Obviously MARQUEZ has mastered timing on PAC's foot. :hat

Even then. Whether he stepped on his foot or not. Manny wasn't moving that foot. He was getting caught. Manny was koed because he got hit with a punch over the top. Not because his foot was stepped on

Stop making excuses. This is like trying to say Manny should of been dqed when he hit Marquez while he was down.in the first fight.

I can't believe you're trying to justify this. This is very typical when a southpaw fights an orthodox fighter, nothing new here. In this case, these two guys are extremely fast paced fighters so expect it to happen more often than a tactical southpaw vs orthodox match-up.
