so...then just make the fight at 147 then if Pac isnt going to be drained at 140. There is no other reason for JMM to ask the fight at 140 unless it is to drain Pac. If hes worried about the weight gain fluctuating his speed and power then dont weigh in over 140...whats so hard about that?

well, Pacquiao is used to weigh in at that range for some time now & he feels comfortable and powerful at that weight, so why force him to weigh below that now when they could fight at welterweight limit without one having size advantage over the other?

I'll reverse the last lines you just said, JMM need to have all the advantages to face the Great Pacquiao... see?

If JMM wants it, they should go at it at ww limit, it doesn't matter if he weighs below 140, wherever he's comfortable and Pacquiao will do where he's comfortable at. What does he fear? Pacquiao ain't a big welterweight, they weigh almost the same at fight night!

Look at these pacfarts changing their tune. Before it was pac is a natural JWW and he force feeding himself to fight at WW. Marquez wants a third fight, so does the fans, they also want to see it at 140, and what do these pacfarts say, pac will be weight drained at 140.

    ****ing priceless.

If I was Pac, I'll fight JMM at 135 for the lineal Lightweight championship. That way Pac will have something to gain.:yep

Too dangerous for Pac to go down to 135 again. 140 would be the best if they ever fight again.

Bob's really not concerned about JMM winning to be honest. He's just about paper. JMM vs PAC will always do good numbers so Bob is willing to sacrafice a fighter who he feels is low risk high reward for his #1 fighter.

But you're probably right...he may have an option to still promote JMM after his fight with PAC. JMM is still a big name in boxing.

You give too much credit to JMM's ability to call shots at this stage in his career. Bob is not giving a second thought to JMM vs PAC if Juan decides to stay with GBP.

I agree I want the fight, should it happen to be at 140 before having it at 147. But 140 or 147 the outcome is the same for a blown up, ineffective natural 135 lb fighter.

The fight should be at 135!! But JMM doens't call the shots.. he can express what he wants but PAC and his team will end up witht he final say.

No. It's the other way around.. It's haters like you who are rejoicing that Pac won't get the chance to knock out JMM and shut you up.

Marquez was 145 by fight night for the Katsidis fight. Pac came in 148 against Margarito. 3 pound difference. Pac's not the type of welter that will balloon to 160.

Not coming in at 140 would even benefit JMM since he doesn't have to cut weight.
