If he leaves GBP, Pac will be next hopefully. After Pac whoops him, he can unify at 135 against Soto and then fight Rios (if he beats Acosta).

My guess is that Marquez might wait to take on the winner of Morales-Maidana.....

.......I think thats actually the perfect scenario for Marquez.
If Maidana beats Morales, Maidana has so many holes in his defense that a fighter of JMM's pedigree can exploit and look great against.......

.....and if Morales happens to pull a major upset, of which I will be rooting happens.....it jells perfectly for Marquez in that it lends credence and legitamacy that it did'nt have had it happened in April for the Mini-fab four to come full circle and finally have a Marquez-Morales fight.

If Morales beats Maidana, Marquez-Morales becomes a legitamit fight where Marquez stands to gain credibility he otherwise would not get without Morales first proving himself vs Maidana.

    Vamos Terrible, ganale a Maidana!:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb

JMM is the most overrated fighter now. What is the great list of guys he has actually beaten?

He's beaten the three top lightweight (his third weight class) contenders in the division at 36-38, and before that matched Pacquiao, the p4p number 1, punch for punch, round for round; there's not anyone 135 and below that can beat him.

You call that overrated? I guess you must not rate Pac as an ATG either.

    **** I'm not even Mexican.

He'll duck good opposition to stay slightly relevant so as to not lose his last payday vs Pac.

I've never had anything against Marquez but that's the truth about him for some time.

......and it makes you angry that Marquez has'nt gone up to 147 lbs to face the likes of fighters outweighing him by 20 lbs on fightnight.....

.....you would like that would'nt you?
Have Marquez go up to face a young fast lion at 147 lbs to have him knocked off and out of the picture of a fight that would make you nervous, a Pacquiao fight?

Your sentiments are tranparent, you fear the presence of Juan Manuel Marquez for Pacquiao, as its the one fighter you fear Pacquiao will lose against.

You fear Marquez so much, you want him knocked off and out of the picture!:lol::lol::yep:deal:deal:deal

Well, if he wants to fight Pac potentially he should beat somebody like Berto, and since Pac should fight Martinez (depending on which Pac Hater you talk to) how about JMM fight Martinez? LOL
JMM isn't going to fight anybody. He's going to either not fight, or beat some nobody and talk about getting a shot against Pac for that check...

I think he's biding his time for the end of 2011, where another failed Pacquiao-Mayweather set of negotiations will give him that fight he's been chasing for. In the meantime, I think he's allowed a low-risk tune-up fight - which is why he was so intent on facing Morales.
