not interested in the 5th fight. marquez has nothing to prove. *******s are going to hate regardless. the real fans know he won fights 2 and 3 and he put his stamp on the 4th.

    move on.

    **** Marquez.

After Manny was KTFO'd and denying him the rematch afterwards, Marquez doesn't deserve it now. He's just worried that IF Manny does start promoting himself that he'll have absolutely no chance of ever getting in the ring with Manny again or ever getting as much $$$ for a fight. He ran away then, don't come crawling back. Jackass.

    /tinfoilhat time...

I love Manny and deeply respect Marquez, and depending on what I had for breakfast that morning I'd flipflop between who got the better of whom in their epic trilogy (prior to Fight #4). Also I don't deny nor diminish the fact that JMM had Pacman dozing on the canvas, probably dreaming dreams of a Jinkee free life, gambling and whoring to his hearts content.

Having said that, Marquez had to be on something during Fight4. Granted JMM had 36rds worth of info on PAC prior to the fight, but I never saw JMM exhibit that much power over an Elite level fighter before. That much strength at 40? So much more power than in their previous bouts? He's countered PAC clean before, but a knockdown AND a knockout? It's highly suspect, especially after his poor performances after. Being a proud Mexican fighter I believe JMM let Pride blind him and did whatever it took to get a win over PAC, those 2 losses chafed Marquez to no end. But now it's not pride but greed. No more big paydays for JMM and now no Arum/Top Rank to give him a chance against Manny again.

I personally don't want to see an Act 5 of this played out drama. I don't believe JMM "cleanly" beat PAC the last time and he sure as hell doesn't deserve to get in the ring with PAC now. No rematch when Manny wanted one? Fine, no rematch for you now. There's no incentive for Manny to fight him again; he knows it, Manny knows it, the world knows it.

Boxing_Master tends to do this, he also does this with floyd quotes. I called him out on it before but he never responded.
