JMM is a better counter puncher than Floyd

True. Jmm would counter you while you were throwing punches. unlike floyd he would go to defensive mode. Floyd doenst like to trade.

Marquez and Mayweather are very different fighters. Marquez likes to sit in the pocket and trade. He hits harder than Mayweather and throws much punches (a lot more combinations, especially). Marquez would eat Chino up. He handles pressure much better.

Mayweather likes to fight with distance. He's more defensive and elusive than Marquez is, but actually inferior at the act of counterpunching. He doesn't like it when guys can close down the gap his obscenely long arms afford him. He doesn't like fighters that crowd him and exploit his low activity.

Mayweather > Marquez

Marquez > Chino

Chino = Mayweather

Superior version of Chino (i.e. Pacquiao) > Mayweather

 

That Maidana in the 1st half of the fight against Floyd would probably murdered Marquez.

 

JMM would stop Maidana, he wont allow for him to just get off and not get a beating back. Thats the problem with Floyd, he doesn't do damage so he doesn't deter.
