Theyre probably both on PEDS. I think its more common than people want to believe. You can really take whatever the **** you want while training as long as it clears before fight night.

Fight fire with fire. PEDs neutralize PEDs. They're both cheats

I think in particularly in the last 10 years the number of guys performing well in their late 30s early 40s has skyrocketed. Just going back to the 80s/90s and guys like SRL, Hagler, Chavez, Pernell, ect were all considered old and shot by mid 30s. I dont think athletes are all of a sudden performing so much better at later ages is because of a protein shake and fish oil regimens.

Good for him. Better late than never. Truth be told he more than likely just recently found someone who knew what he was doing and actually benefited Marquez with an effective PED protocol rather than just take his money and do next to nothing.

Sports are full of self promoting PED "experts" that do not know very much and take their clients for a financial ride.

This is the truth. Jones Jr. and Holyfield were both likely big time steroid users. Look at Toney he used them and you could never tell by looking at him.

The thing is, it doesn't take much research to get to the real facts of the matter with this stuff. In almost every sport doping of some sort or another is rife, and we're talking in sports which are far, far better regulated than boxing, with far more risk of getting caught and lot less financial reward for that risk.

Athletes who are subjected to year round random testing (who earn far less than top fighters) can buy substances that can't be detected by any testing on earth (this is fact) yet we're to believe that boxers who take ONE ****ING TEST after a fight aren't doping?

I'm genuinely astounded by the naivety of the general boxing fan when it comes to this - it's a cross between massive ignorance and denial.

Oh - his head hasn't grown, he hasn't gained weight, he hasn't got acne, he doesn't have roid rage, he's not hitting harder . . . you're just a hater.

JMM was on steroid. He didn't hire Angel for nothing.

If you don't believe JMM was on the juice you won't believe anything.

Marquez wanted to add weight but retain speed, thats not what Beristain is an expert at, so Marquez hired Hernandez who totally changed his workout regimen to achieve that goal.

Whether or not Hernandez put Marquez on a PED regimen is anyones guess. I cant say for certain whether he did or did'nt. What we do know is that Marquez welcomed any type of PED testing.
Team Marquez put the onus on team Pacquiao to chose whether or not they wished both fighters be tested. Team Pacquiao remained silent on the matter not chosing to take team Marquez' offer, and so should every ******* who would now like to point the finger at a fighter more than willing to take any type of PED test.:deal

I will say this about Marquez. He did'nt put that weight on overnight.
He's been buiding and working toward attaining a bigger body since he left the featherweight division.
A couple of fights before the Pacquiao fight, before Marquez hired Hernandez, Marquez climbed the ring against Katsidis the heaviest he had ever been in a fight (145 lbs) and looked and carried that weight well.

I thought Marquez' physique (145 lbs) looked better in the Katsidis fight, than it did in the Pacquiao fight where Marquez climbed the ring at
    (150 lbs)

Unlike Pacquiao, Marquez' physique carrying (150 lbs) was'nt all lean mass. Marquez looked better than he did for the Mayweather fight, but there was still a little flab in the waist area.
