If PAC catches JMM with the same right he put down Shane with, then it's good night, he won't get up from that.

Its a lose lose situation for pac. If he KOs jmm he'd old. If he gets a decision he's old. If pac loses an old man beats him. He should have fought brtadley young n uindefeated.

Marquez, at some point EARLY in this fight will get pinned by Pacquiao, when he tries to trade a little with some counter-punches he will find himself awakening on the canvas. Pac is too powerful and strong at the weight.

Think about it, 144 is probably Manny's optimum weight just now, as much as I like Marquez I think he will get starched in the first half of this fight.

It won't be a massacre it will be over in a flash ....

You must not have seen the Pac-Mosley fight........

......maybe someone can put a gif of the knockdown up, in fact it would be great if someone would put up gifs of both Mosley and Marquez in the rematch getting knocked down by Pacquiao.....

The shot that put Marquez down was right on the button. Marquez went down hard as he was attempting ot deliever his own shot when he got clocked...........

The shot that sent Mosley down was from what seemed like a glancing blow, and the shot landed as Mosley was walking away from the punch.....when you're walking away and or turning away form a punch, the punch has less effect.

I was actually bewildered that Mosley would turn chicken after that particular punch.
Imo, Mosley mindset was focused too much on the stereotype that Pacquiao was a big puncher that his mind brainwashed him into believing Pacquiao was delivering more power than he really was.

I've watched the Mosley-Pac fight a couple of times already and I dont see a single heavy shot landed by Pacquiao that would make him say, "damn, I cant get hit by that shot again."

Mosley's mind played tricks with him. He was brainwashed by his own imagination because not at any point in the fight did Pacquiao land would you could call a "killer KO" type of a punch.

I can understand a fighter turning chicken if he were caught by a bone jarring shot for example like the one that Pacquiao landed on Margarito that broke his orbital bone and caused instant swelling.
.......that however did not even come close to happening in this Mosley fight.

in their last fight, pac has been a wild swinger and relying much of his speed and chin but now, pac is careful in picking up his punches. He doesnt engage if he thinks he cant hit the opponent. jmm will need a lot of **** on this one!

I don't necesarrily think its because he has his number, sure I guess he does, but more than anything its because JMM is the most complete fighter Pac has ever fought.

JMM is PROVEN as best competition for Pacquiao in the past.

Unfortunately for JMM, his age is catching up to him a bit. His fight against Mayweather was a tough one and it showed he was having a hard time pulling the trigger to fight thru the counters in order to not let PBF control the fight.

I really hope to see a war, but im afraid JMM might fall short of peep's expectations in this one. JMM has slowed down a bit, but Pacquiao's physical talents havent really diminished.

In fact, its going to show that his fights in heavier weight classes are going to give him a remarkable edge. We've seen what he can do to oversized Welterweights, literally push them around the ring. Now he's matching up with a natural Lightweight? This isnt shaping up good for JMM. He does have a decent chance though, being the smarter puncher. Expect JMM's gameplan to be as before - time Manny coming in with a counter. Trust your chin and mix it up a bit, but disengage in a timely manner. Seize any opportunity you see Manny off-balance or out of position.

Im afraid Manny has gotten used to big Welterweight power and may just steamroll thru JMM's punches for the most part... a timed and well-placed counter makes a world of difference though

manny loves those mexican warriors who's willing to stand toe-to-toe and bring the best out of him... hope JMM will be able to replicate yet another close war
