yeah if had gotten the nod he would be a near certainty for fighter of the year and he would be p4p number 1 too.

Yes, but win or lose on the official cards, the performance is the same, and the experts rated JMM's performance A+, most having him winning... that has to be a factor when voting for FOTY...

as much as the fight is close, he lost to pacquiao via SD. margarito is now slacking it off for the remaining of the year and pac could snatch it if he does the impossible.

With Pacquiao taking a precarious fight at the end of the year, Margarito looks like a lock. If Pac wins impressively though well, the **** will hit the fan.

I say Pac takes it. Even a loss but competitive performance against DLH, plus two titles from different division is enough for Pac to seal the FOY.

Impressive come-back win but sorry, the two serious candidates are Pacquiao and Margarito for me. Pacquiao for his win over Marquez, captures the WBC title at a new weight and moving up TWO weight divisions to fight DLH. Margarito for crushing both Cotto and Cintron.

If Pacquiao loses against DLH then Margarito takes that spot for me, but right now it's Pacquiao.

The official judges had it for Pacquiao, enough said. If this was a complete farce decision like Chavez Sr. vs Whitaker then sure I'll agree. This was a very close fight and when it's extremely close then it goes to the judges and they favored Pacquiao as I did and many others as well.

He has no chance. Ring magazine will not undermine the official decision like that. Will never happen.
