He's my favourite boxer on the planet, he was the p4p number one up until the Mayweather fight, but it now looks like the great mans days are numbered

IMO opinion a third fight with Manny would be a crazy move at this stage, i'd rather just see him and Hatton fight in a football stadium, a great farewell fight for both guys

Yea Hatton and Marquez would make the most sense for both fighters at this time. They could both make a big paycheck, have a farewell fight and i think it would be very competitive on both ends. One last great fight for the two.

as much as i think marquez to be the superior fighter over pacquiao, i don't think a third fight with the catfish midget would be to his advantage. for one, marquez is getting too old for pacquiao and would probably get KO'd. it's just too bad pacquiao refused to fight marquez after getting that gift decision and robbed the world of a third fight!

Hatton vs. JMM at a catchweight of 145 will be a good scrap... "The Battle of P4P #1 Leftovers" will be a very big fight in Manchester, England...

yeah that p4p #1 was a complete coward in absolutely refusing marquez his rematch. i've never seen an alleged p4p #1 cherry pick his opponents like the catfish midget does.

cant really blame him. when you know the other guy has your number, why put yourself in that positioin

manny got destroyed in the first fight, he showed a lot of guts even doing a second fight, no way would he do a third with JMM still in his prime

I'd like to see what he's capable of doing at 135/140 before I completley write him off. Fighting as a welterweight was simply a step too far for him.

agree except i think he was done by the time he fought baby bull. though he won, he was really getting demolished for the first 8 rounds.

Marquez still has some good fights in him. I'd say two or three - as long as they're at 135-140.

He'd be a favorite over pretty much anyone in the 140 pound division. He should wait at least six months before he fights, though. The weight he gained just slowed him down and he should be able to recoup some of his speed with time. He just wasn't the same athlete after he ballooned up so much in September.
