Think Tyson v Holyfield 2, Bowe v Holyfield 2 & even Rahman v Lewis 1 where more shocking when it comes to boxing. This obviously pales in comparison to shocking things witnessed in real life. It was definately a shock though, I watched it in a packed bar & a lot of people thought Pacquiao was actually dead.
tyson/douglas. mike was invincible. shocking. i knew jmm would beat pac convincingly and thought a stoppage was possible. i didn't expect it to be explosive. i knew tarver would beat rjj...but again...i didn't think it would be as explosive. i called rahman/lewis 1. didn't expect lewis to starch him in the rematch.
I was pretty shocked, you couldn't see the shot jmm threw fro the original camera angle and PAC went face first into the canvas so I didn't know what had happened initially. For a split second I thought he'd been shot...
Nah. It was funny as hell tho. Thats what happens when a fighter practices that same punch in sparring over and over then you run into him face first and he gets to use that same punch. Dont wake meee im dreammmminnnnn
Great moment no doubt you knew it was only a matter of time. That a guy as reckless as Pac would get caught with something big and go to sleep.
probably THEE most satisfying karma induced moment we'll ever see Tyson - Douglas got to win this for sure, but to say "not even close" reeks of denial Really? That shocked you more then Juan kiling Manny? (you any idea how many times ive posted that KO to sherp :good) [/QUOTE]
Nah. These were at least as rich in karmic satisfaction, or more: [yt]9bTLzMFhdT4[/yt] (^ though it was made less satisfying by the disgusting behavior of the fans) http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2012/0917/box_chavez_lopez_10.jpg [yt]89igY4cHzzM[/yt] [yt]nWtl-ae65qI[/yt]
