Marquez landed more power shots, 115-86, and had more variety to his punches. Bradley was potshotting from the distance and landed more jabs. Not exactly a robbery but JMM deserved a nod.

Final CompuBox stats: Bradley outlanded Marquez 168-153, and throwing 562 punches (30%) to Marquez's 455 (34%). Bradley outjabbed Marquez 82-38, while Marquez landed more power shots, 115-86.

This welterweight division is so poor. Apart from Manny and Floyd you have guys like Bradley being chased down by 40 year old super featherweights.

Agree with that, Manny, Tim Bradley is a great guy, but a disaster for boxing.

Bradley had the right gameplan & made the judges switch from watching Juan to "Oh **** check out Bradley's quickness". TeamBradley deserve credit for making sure Tim executed that plan. Listen to the cheerleaders on the HBO telecast... What clowns.

i had tim winning easily to be honest. was not a hard fight to score at all. i gave jmm 4 rds at the most. jmm missed alot and the crowd was ohhhing and awwing over jmm hitting air.
tim won that fight easily kinda. plus he made it alot easier on himself this time.

Nice chess match, but bradley pulled it out to me. Marquez looked 40 years old last night

I gave it to Bradley, and didn't think Marquez won more than 5 rounds.

Don't see how Marquez could have won. Bradley boxed beautifully and even won most if not all the toe to toe exchanges. Marquez landed the occasional good shot but Bradley always seemed to answer back... its a shame Bradley doesnt have more pop to his punches

Bradley won. It was hard to give rounds to Marquez. He won four at the most. Some of those Bradley jabs were snapping Marquez's head back. They may not have been counted as power shots, but they had some pop to them.

I think when you expect Marquez to blow out bradley based on their previous fights, it makes you have higher expectations from Marquez when watching and judging his fight last night. I think that is what Marquez was trying to interprete when he was being post interviewed and was talking about fights not always ending in ko's. I feel Marquez won but won't get upset by those who feel Bradley won and start quoting what hbo team said last night making it obvious that their decision was based and influenced off of a biased announcement team

    Thats true.

thats why JMM felt he won, cause he knows he put more power punches on Bradley.
Bradley mostly jabbed and connected a few times with his right cross, but JMM landed many solid left hooks that hurt Bradley.

    A Draw wouldve been appropriate.

I think thats what happened here with two of the judges.
You watch the quickness and the flash and actually dont notice who's shots are harder and more effective.

    Happened to Hagler vs Leonard.
