i see diaz getting outboxed & countered for most of the fight. but theres no denying juans heart esp it being a mexican vs mexican thang.

He's got heart, and of course he's gonna try his hardest to go the distance even if he knows he's losing. But I just dont think he's gonna get seriously hurt or KO'D. But I'm picking JMM 9-3.

This is a hell of a fight, Juan Diaz seems to be able to take a punch and knows when and how to land a punch, he'll weaken Marquez up a bit, but I have Juan Manuel Marquez winning about 8 rounds to Diaz 4. I really like Juan Diaz, he is so young and smart in there. If he had a little bit more power then I would probably guess the fight a little closer. I do not see a TKO loss from Juan Diaz though, if there is a TKO then it would be Marquez who recieves it.

I agree with u, but NAte went the 12 (yes with a prime)and JMM stopped Casamayor. I think Marquez brought his heat with him to LW

 

taking a punch doesn't get you on points but if you are durable then you can last longer even if you are losing the first half of the fight, just ask Margarito.

Marquez is a monster and one of my favorite boxers.
He will dominate Diaz.....
Diaz's confidence will be shaken after this one....unless he takes complete
solace that he lost to a superior fighter.

I always thought Juan Diaz was a small LW. If he lost all that baby fat he could make 130 easy, and his power would be much more evident.
